Sue Lehr (82), formerly of Tully, died on December 22 at her home in Baldwinsville. She was a beloved friend, teacher, advocate, wife, mother and grandmother.
Sue is survived by her brother, J. Scott Maze; her three children, Ben Lehr, Sherry Föhr and Penny Lehr, who cared for her mother during her last years; as well as her son-in-law, Christian Föhr, and her four grandchildren, Daniele Lehr, DeForest Blasier, Nanina Föhr and Annika Föhr.
A celebration of Sue's life is planned for February 15, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Jowonio School, 3049 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13224. Sue did not want a service, but we'd like to give anyone who wishes to say a few words a chance to do so. What Sue did always want at celebrations was food, and her absolute favorite kind of party was a potluck. In that spirit, please feel free – but by no means obligated – to bring along some snacks or finger food to share. We'll organize drinks, dishes and cutlery.
